Trexity’s 2022 couriers of the year
Our Trexity Couriers are very important to us, so each year we like to take a moment and acknowledge those who really shined with our Courier of the Year Award.
Being a courier can be a very rewarding role but we know there are some challenges that may arise. We truly appreciate the essential work they have done to support their community and all of our merchants this past year.
Of all the couriers that were nominated, these four were the best of the best. Let’s take a moment to learn more about them and celebrate their passions with a quick Q&A.
Balthazar M. (Ottawa)
Q: Balthazar, tell us what you love most about the city you drive in.
The people are my favourite.
Q: Who is your favourite local merchant to do deliveries for?
Bridgehead is my favourite.
Q: Why did you choose to deliver with Trexity and what motivates you to keep delivering for us?
I like that there are orders with many drop offs and I am assigned more deliveries while still completing previous orders.
Q: How do you spend your spare time when you’re not driving?
I enjoy spending time resting and visiting family.
Jeremy S. (Calgary)
Q: Jeremy, tell us what you love most about the city you drive in.
Seeing the mountains on the different routes.
Q: Who is your favourite local merchant to do deliveries for?
My favourite would be Small Flowers.
Q: Why did you choose to deliver with Trexity and what motivates you to keep delivering for us?
The freedom to create your own hours, continuous hours and helping small businesses throughout the community.
Q: How do you spend your spare time when you’re not driving?
When I am not driving, I like to spend my time cooking and working out.
Michael S. (Toronto)
Q: Michael, tell us what you love most about the city you drive in.
I’ve lived in Toronto all my life but since driving with Trexity I’ve been discovering all the beauty that Toronto has to offer, the infrastructure, history, the variety of delicious food from around the world, beautiful scenic views and cultural diversity. Toronto is fabulous and it makes me proud to be a Torontonian!!!
Q: Who is your favourite local merchant to do deliveries for?
My experiences with all the merchants have been positive, but I must say Dufflet Pastries make the most tantalizing cakes. On one rainy day, Miquel the manager gifted me a cake and it was outstandingly decadent.
Q: Why did you choose to deliver with Trexity and what motivates you to keep delivering for us?
When I was looking through ads looking for job opportunities, I noticed that Trexity received 5 stars in the reviews section. As I did more research, I found out that we were able to pick our own hours, our own jobs, and being an independent distributor this gives me the freedom to choose where and when I’d like to work which is a double bonus!! The support team is extremely friendly, super helpful and helped me get through some tricky situations when first starting out with the company. I also love the weekly bonuses that are offered and they are great incentives and help me reach my goals.
Q: How do you spend your spare time when you’re not driving?
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and pooch, barbecuing at the beach during the summer months. During the winter months, I like taking my dog Cozmo on long scenic walks on the Lakeshore.
Gurveer S. (Winnipeg)
Q: Gurveer, tell us what you love most about the city you drive in.
The people are friendly.
Q: Who is your favourite local merchant to do deliveries for?
I don’t have a favourite, all the merchants are very nice and helpful.
Q: Why did you choose to deliver with Trexity and what motivates you to keep delivering for us?
My friend told me about Trexity. Trexity allows you to be your own boss and work whenever you want. Also, there are plenty of bonuses and earning opportunities. I found Trexity to be one of the best earning platforms out there.
Q: How do you spend your spare time when you’re not driving?
I spend time eating out and calling my friends when I am not driving.
